Fri 21.10.11 GS SOIL finishes INSPIRE testing |

Today, in due time, the contributing partners in GS SOIL submitted the comments regarding the INSPIRE data specification for the annex III theme “soil” to the JRC for further acknowledgement. The contributing partners tested their datasets regarding the feasibility of the INSPIRE schema, for example for monitoring data, derived soil profiles, map units, soil sample points, soil thematic maps etc.
The GS SOIL group generally states that the provided data specification and data model is “partly feasible”. Comments and proposed changes are submitted. Further testing results are in addition mapping tables and transformed data.
